01

Hey, boo boos! I'm popping in today to let you know that I posted the two recent projects you see above and below to my website: www.amandarosezampelli.com.

Yes, I've been few & far in between this site and that one, sporadically posting, trying to revamp what currently is that space and get back into some sort of personal blogging routine. This has been going on since May-ish, and it's October this week. But, anyway, I digress.

Details on the October prep page in my Happy Planner can be found HERE and my Project Life 2015 |Summer| pages can be found HERE. Hope you check 'em out! thanks for stopping by! xoxo

Project Life 2015 // march

01

I've posted the intro page, the inside cover, January's pages, and the first three weeks of February to my Project Life 2015 album, and today I'm sharing the bunch of pages encapsulating March.

03

The March title page was marked by placing me & my BIG ideas gold foil alphas on top of a full 6x8 photo.  In the upper left corner I added a Studio Calico gold foil tag.

04

The next page documents some images from 'a mile a day in March' (notice I only included the few I took when the weather was warm enough to go outside).

07

The following spread contains some randoms from early March on the left side, and a page dedicated to my friend Elisa's Baby Shower on the right.

08

Lady Gaga's Oscar performance, and THAT DRESS!  Oh, I can't get enough of that flawy, material for days, dress!!!

10

In traffic on the way to Elisa's baby shower, I took a few traffic selfies. I included them in most of the squares because I felt pretty that day...and for the first time, stronger than I had all of February. Again, all Studio Calico and me & my BIG ideasused above.

13

The cats in March make up the left side of the next spread, with an insert in the middle, and a full page documenting the awesome design assignment I was given by me & my BIG ideas.

14

Between my mom and I, there are four cats in the house and what clowns they are! Total doorbells. Ya gotta love 'em!

15

Some images I've tagged #ARZ_backinshape which I talked about HERE make up the middle insert.

16

On top of my full page photo of the design assignment I was given in March, I adhered that "i can, i will" sticker from THIS jumbo mambiSTICKS pack to a trimmed down transparency and layered it on top.

19

To have the "i can, i will' transparency turn with the photo sleeve, I pinned them together in the corner with gold paper clips and stuck that little gold foil light bulb tag underneath. Ya gotta love the little details. ;)

20

The final spread of March in my Project Life 2015 album was very bright and very pink.  I wanted to use a lot of trimmed down POCKET PAGES™ cards from these new mambi packs.

22

The photos were randoms form the end of March and mixed in with (again) me & my BIG ideas and Studio Calico project life cards.

23

The smaller photo page has a front and back, and I love what the sky blues on one side brings out of the right side, and how the sea green on the other side brings out something totally different.

Project Life 2015 // february 1 - 21

01

I've posted the intro page, the inside cover, and January's pages to my Project Life 2015 album, and today I'm sharing the first three weeks of February.

02

The first spread included a page of what's been on my nightstand and a page of the cats in February.

03

The second spread is made up of Studio Calico cards embellished with me & my BIG ideas stickers.

04

The second spread talks about how I entered February without him...

05

...how I'm missing him, not knowing what happens next (still don't)...

06

...how I'm broken-hearted, not able to do it, but doing it anyway...

07

...and things rough around the edges and ducky signs from God.

08

'Be Brave' in a big gold foil jumbo mambiSTICK sticker inevitably comes next, especially over the page documenting my Valentine's Day. Bravery's been a big theme this month.

09

I stuck it to a trimmed to size transparency sheet, and when you lift the transparency, there's a copy of my Valentine's Day selfie with the story of the day.

11

I included a letter I wrote to my Grandma about my sister and I going down to visit her in Florida at the end of March, and February's wishlist.

12

Another jumbo mambiSTICK stick in silver foil reading 'Carpe Diem' seemed fitting to stick on a transparency over the letter since my sister and I are going to seize the first few days of April and go vacation in Grams' Floridan condo!

13

The final spread documenting the first three weeks of February is made up of a page reviewing the book Show Your Work! by Austin Kleon.

14

The opposite page documents my relationship to the gym and some happy mail.

15

Project Life 2015 // january

01 JAN 2015

I've posted the intro page and the inside cover to my Project Life 2015 album, and today I'm sharing my January pages.

00 spread 01

I plan to stick these gold foil alphabet stickers by me & my BIG ideas to mark the beginning of each month. Here, I placed them directly on top of a photo from January 1st and a blurb describing the day.

03 JAN 2015

I had a rough start to the new year, so this Studio Calico card seemed fitting. I embellished both cards with some turquoise watercolor to unify them and make them pop a bit.

00 spread 02

The next spread shows some things that went on in the first week of January: gym, snow, and my niece Valentina's birth!

04 JAN 2015

A design element I used repeatedly throughout these January pages was sticking these white Studio Calico alphabet stickers over white areas of photos and Project Life cards. It's almost as if the little bit of adhesive journalling isn't even there, but look closely and it is. Love that.

06 JAN 2015

My niece is so cute! "Finally here!" is a clear sticker from me & my BIG ideas. Clear "THIS" embellishment is from my It Factor collection with We R Memory Keepers.

08 JAN 2015

The next spread starts my whirlwind trip to California to CHA. I included the above full 6x8 page spread with the words I wrote in this blog post about getting to attend CHA.

10 JAN 2015

I included an extra special photo insert telling the story of how I met Amy Tangerine. On one side is the 6x4 photo of us three, and on the other is a 4x6 journalling card from her Plus One collection. I used a me & my Big ideas gold foil 'Grateful' sticker from this pack to embellish it.

11 JAN 2015

Below, I watercolored some green streaks on regular printer paper before running it through my typewriter to add the "my emerald city" jot about the Anaheim Convention center during CHA.

12 JAN 2015

The next spread shows when I got to see my Love Notes collection on display in the We R Memory Keepers booth at CHA 2015, and when Olya Schmidt and I first met and became instant friends during a self-timer session.

00 spread 05

Studio Calico wood veneer embellishments pair nicely with me & my BIG ideas clear stickers.

13 JAN 2015

I watercolored and misted that "hello, i think you are" card in bright vibrant blue and yellow because it reminds me of the type of art Olya creates.

15 JAN 2015

The next two pages for January continue to document my time at CHA.

00 spread 06

The first page in this spread is of the three outfits I wore to CHA. I had wanted to use those No.1, No.2, and No.3 cards from Studio Calico for a while, and set them aside for the right 'three of something' documentation. The "Rise & Shine" Studio Calico card made sense to include since I'd rise each morning at CHA and get myself together.

16 JAN 2015

To coordinate the three cards to the 'Rise & Shine' card, I watercolored the same type of sun shine design on each before adhering my outfit photos. Also, I added a photo-flip pocket so I could include the two extra personalized Project Life cards.

18 JAN 2015

The other side of the spread includes three photos in the me & my Big ideas booth at CHA of some members of the mambi Design Team that visited on my last day at the show.

19 JAN 2015

The final spread for January was made up of a page about my time in California the days following the CHA Tradeshow, and a page about some things that happened once I returned home to New York.

00 spread 07

That "Don't Quit Your Daydream" jumbo me & my BIG ideas sticker is from this pack.

23 JAN 2015

Just like I did with the intro page of my album, I adhered the sentiment to a trimmed-to-size transparency sheet, so I could flip it out of the way.

21 JAN 2015

I stapled some sequins, typed up some jots with my typewriter...

24 JAN 2015

...used more white alphas on white, and wrote some journalling around Jack, my mom's cat.

25 JAN 2015

The final page of January stuck to the formula of some photos, some Project Life cards, personalize each with stickers or stamps or some type of journalling; finish with a strip of washi tape on the seam of the page. Hooray!

Project Life 2015 // intro page

Yesterday, I posted about the inside cover of my Project Life 2015 album, and today: here is the intro page.

Project Life 2015 // intro page | via Amanda Rose Zampelli

I stuck this silver foil 'Good Things Are Going to Happen" jumbo sticker (from this mambiSHEETS pack) to a trimmed transparency sheet, and made it my first page. It's a great opening phrase and my one little word: PROOF calls for the year to prove it.

Project Life 2015 // intro page | via Amanda Rose Zampelli

Because I want the back of this page to be a full 6x8 image for January, I adhered these three Project Life cards + my photo to a 6x8 white piece of card stock. That way, I could use a full 6x8 photo sleeve.

Project Life 2015 // intro page | via Amanda Rose Zampelli

"This year I want to..." card is from Studio Calico's January kit, and in alignment with my one little word, I filled in the blank with "...find proof."

Project Life 2015 // intro page | via Amanda Rose Zampelli

I drew lines on the black&white flowers card to make it a journalling card and watercolored a pretty magenta to coordinate with the elements on the bottom cards.

Project Life 2015 // intro page | via Amanda Rose Zampelli

I included a recent selfie photo, and cut down a gold foil specialty card from Studio Calico with the best four words I could utter about myself at any given point: "I am still learning."

I finished off with a semi-transparent 2015 and a wooden 'Move Forward" banner.

I'm excited for this year's Project Life journey because I've got a better handle on my approach and style than ever before. This is my fourth year documenting my life in this way, and I can't help but feel good things are going to happen. -- ♥ARZ♥

Project Life 2015 // inside cover

Project Life 2015 // using a bunch of mambiSTICKS clear stickers on my album's inside cover | via Amanda Rose Zampelli

With the completion of my December Daily 2014, I was fully ready to dive into PL 2015. After collaging some clear mambiSTICKS sayings stickers on this scrapbook layout, I decided to the same thing on the inside front and back cover of my Project Life album for 2015.

Project Life 2015 // using a bunch of mambiSTICKS clear stickers on my album's inside cover | via Amanda Rose Zampelli

The pattern of positive affirmations will hit me every time I open the album. This pleases me. It also works nicely with my one little word for this year: PROOF, because when I read something like "There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind. - C.S. Lewis" I think, Oh yeah?! PROVE IT! (Hopefully the events this album documents will.)

I used white clear stickers from the five mambiSTICKS packs above. You can shop your own HERE.

Tomorrow I'll be sharing my intro page, and soon I'll share the spreads I made for the month of January. Project Life 2015: IN FULL EFFECT. Let do this! -- ♥ARZ♥

December Daily 2014 // days 21 to 25

01.5 title

She's done. My December Daily 2014 is done, and put in its own album. Using those red glitter me & my BIG ideas number stickers to mark the days, finalizing each page with a coordiating washi tape on the page protector's seam, and (mostly) journalling digitally has been my system -- and it's helped me to finish.

See a flip-through of my finished DD spreads days 1 to 25 below:

10 DecDaily 2014

Day 21 was a pretty great, lazy, chore-doing Sunday. I washed my sheets; Alejandro lounged. My cousin Claudia came over to spent some holiday time with us. Pasta and salad was for dinner. Tomas and my sister came over and we four played Cards Against Humanity for the first time.

02 DD 2014 Day 21 01

That game is a lot of fun. Things were said, like, "Maybe she's born with it...maybe it's a stray pube."  Pretty ridiculous.

02 DD 2014 Day 21 02

I had a regular workday Monday on day 22, but Claude was over, and later on when I went ot drive her to the train station for her field trip into NYC, we stopped and had the below photoshoot moment. I love the nine shots we got, and I love the page that came of it.

03 DD 2014 Day 22 01

On day 23, I baked some cookies for Tomas's family. There are so many of them, and they all give gifts on Christmas Eve. To have something to hand back to them, I baked up two giant tubs of chocolate chips, placed them neatly in pretty Christmas tins, and labeled each one "baked with love from Amanda".

04 DD 2014 Day 23 01

At night, we went to Tomas's sister Anna's house, and had dinner with his parents. It was a lovely, peaceful time.

04 DD 2014 Day 23 02

The next day was Christmas Eve! Day 24 had me wrapping some gifts, and singing Eminem's Rap God song, but with a different meaning. Then, I got ready for my traditional Christmas Eve spent with Tomas's wonderful Filipino family.

00 title

The night included the usual: singing karaoke, playing card games, a glorious lobster dinner, and handing out presents at midnight.

05 DD 2014 Day 24 02

Finally, day 25: Merry Christmas! My dad gifted me a free Leo's Tire Shop t-shirt he got when his tire was fixed. ???

06 DD 2014 Day 25 01

My sister and my best friend, Jamina, each gifted my an Alex+Ani bracelet.

06.5 DD 2014 Day 25 01

Then we went to Uncle Matt's for our traditional brunch buffet. We brought the karaoke, so people sang.

06 DD 2014 Day 25 03

We left around 2-ish, and my family went back to our house to take long naps. We woke up and had fried shrimp and more pasta. That's how we do on Christmas.

06 DD 2014 Day 25 04

...and there it is! Done. Days 1 to 25 of my December 2014 documented and in a book, and done. I wasn't able to finish my December Daily the past two years, so getting this one done makes me happy.

In many ways -- 2014's Christmas and all its happenings is the Christmas of my twenties. The same places, the same routines and traditions... I look forward to the holiday season morphing now that I'm in my 30s. Hopefully somewhere in the next 10 years I'll be able to host Christmas at my place, and my kids will be there.

Whole book

In the meantime, I have this album.  I love the the little washi tape party that I created by sticking a strip on the seam of every page. I shall be continuing that in my Project Life 2015. Stay tuned! Thanks for visiting! -- ♥ARZ♥
