Helvetica Diaries 10 free printable | Amanda Rose Zampelli

It's been a while since I created and made available a Helvetica diaries print out. This is my tenth submission. The "Helvetica diaries" series is a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.

Today's is a group of phrases I needed to see in one space, working together, coming at me at the same time. I imagine if God was a gangster (and I imagine he is) this is what's he'd sound like talking to me at this point in my life right now. Maybe your's too? Much love, Big G. Much love.

Below it's available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print it for yourself.  It's as easy as clicking the download link, and printing from your computer. ♥ Enjoy!

Helvetica Diary 09 | Amanada Rose blog

This is the ninth submission for my "Helvetica diaries" series. This series is a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.

I talked in detail about today's Helvetica diary sentiment at the end of this post. I often find myself in constant pursuit of the reason why things happen that I'm not enjoying them as they happen, and quite honestly, I'm SO OVER IT. How 'bout you?

Below it's available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print it for yourself.  It's as easy as clicking the download link, and printing from your computer. ♥ Enjoy!

Helvetica Diaries 08

This is the eight submission for my "Helvetica diaries" series. Simply put: this series is a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.

Today's Helvetica diary was inspired by this pin I came across while researching images for the new  line I'm working on for We R Memory Keepers, and I absoultely fell in love with it. YES! It makes so much sense!  I love a good metaphor, and right here on this Helvetica diary there are three!

Be a LAMP or a LADDER or a LIFEBOAT! All talking, of course, in relation to other people.  I think if every human - in their dealings with other human beings - would have to pick only from one of those three things, the world would be a better place.

Below it's available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print it for yourself.  It's as easy as clicking the download link, and printing from your computer. ♥ Enjoy!

Helvetica diaries // 07

Helvtetica Diaires 07

Here is the seventh submission for my "Helvetica diaries" series. Simply put: this series is a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.

Today's Helvetica diary is made up of some words I've needed lately. Often, if you are human (and I'm assuming you are), you feel fear. It's inconvinient. It's not fun.  It's debilitating. I used to think the older you got, the less you felt it, or the better you got at dealing with/mastering/overcoming (?) it. I'm learning the opposite is true.  The older you get, the more you feel fear.  ...and sometimes I feel the more creative you are, the more your mind finds creative ways to [insert fear here].  I've read about some of the most creative women bloggers suffering from fear, anxiety, and panic here, here, here, here, here and here...and even Ali Edwards journalled about it in her latest installment of her one little word workshop. Good news is: in all cases I've read about, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, a general hopeful message about the passing nature of their fear.

I sure as heck hope I don't feel 'absolutely terrifed every moment of my life' but in truth sometimes - as humans - we feel that's the case.  I just hope that when I feel fear, I remember everybody does, and I'm no worse than them.  I hope it doesn't stop me from doing what I want to do -- 'cause guess what? It turns out, when you do those things you want to do, you realize how false and fake that fear feeling was in reality.

Try your best to live in the moment and get out of your head. Do what you want to do anyway. Have fun.

That's what I suppose is in this edition of Helvetica Diaries. ♥ Thanks for reading.

Below it's available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print it for yourself.  It's as easy as clicking the download link, and printing from your computer. Enjoy!

Helvetica diaries // 06

00 Helvetica Diaries 06

Here is the sixth submission for my "Helvetica diaries" series, first seen here and here. Simply put: this series is a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.

Today's Helvetica diary is for my fellow cat-lovers. The idea came to me while walking the streets of New York City and realizing that almost everyone that passed me was speaking a different language: Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Yiddish...it's amazing, and one of my favorite things about New York City, but it gets frustrating because I feel left out of the dual-language club. Boo. After a few seconds of pouting, I realized, Hey! I can be in the club! I speak cat!  (Something only my fellow crazy cat people will understand.)

Below it's available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print it for yourself or some crazy cat person you know.  It's as easy as clicking the download link, and printing from your computer. In this print's case, the size is 8x10 inches.

Helvetica diaries // 03, 04, 05

Here are the third, fourth, and fifth submissions for my "Helvetica diaries" series, first seen here and here. Simply put: it's going to be a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.

Today I have three prints that would make great Valentine's gifts for lovers and friends if printed and framed.  Below they are available as free downloadable .pdfs if you wish to print the sentiment(s) for yourself or someone you know.  It's as easy as clicking the download link, and printing from your computer. In these prints' case, the size is 8x10 inches.

Helvetica Diaires 03_Romantic

This first Helvetica diary piece is for the romantic.  The words are from a song I heard a few weeks ago called "I Was Made for Sunny Days" while I was in a shopping mall.  I can picture pairing this print with a mixed CD of love songs in which this song was the first track. It's adorable (and so true in this snow we East Coasters have been having). You can hear the song below.

Helvetica Diaires 04_Free Spirit

The next Helvetica diary print comes from the NONONO song "Pumpin' Blood." If you have a free-spirited friend who is maybe without a date this year, this print might be perfect for him/her. It references the heart - the symbol - of February 14th, but not in a cheesy way...and come on: those lyrics are great all year 'round.

Helvetica Diaires 05_Cynic

If the first print would be for Charlotte, and the second for Carrie, I imagine this one would so totally be for Miranda.  No, it's not a song lyric, but rather a quote from the great George Carlin.  I kind of love it. Try and tell me with a straight face that you don't know a handful of girlfriends who wouldn't love to unwrap this framed print next Friday along with a cute heart-shaped box of chocolates.  The thought of it thrills me!  (If you do it, LET ME KNOW! Haa!)

Helvetica diaries // 02

00 Helvetica Diaries 2 | Amanda Rose blog

Here is the second submission for my "Helvetica diaries" series, first seen here.  Simply put: it's going to be a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.

This quote/saying/song lyric/random thought will be made available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print the sentiment for yourself.  It's as easy as clicking the download link below, and printing from your computer. In this print's case, the size is 5x7 inches.

I stuck the print on black glitter paper, giving it a unique mat feel, and a little more 'pizazz'.  I wasn't planning on making another Helvetica diaries available so soon, but the above quote is going to be the mantra of my week, and I needed it visual and in my face.

Basically, it's a way to say my one little word 'WORK' in a sentence, and in a very specific way starting today, I'm yeilding this notion like a sword.  I think quotes that resonate are always good to put on file in your psyche, but when one comes around that you can apply specifically to a particular aspect of your life in the very moment you read it, well, that's something entirely different, and important.

Starting today, I have a very specific door I'm going to be building...excited to share in the future. ♥

Helvetica Diaries 01

I am starting a new simple series on this blog space here called "Helvetica diaries".  Simply put: it's going to be a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, random thought flying around my brain, or a typographic whatever printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.

This quote/saying/song lyric/random thought/typographic whatever will be made available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print the sentiment for yourself.  It's as easy as clicking the download link below, and printing from your computer.  There is an 8x10 rectangle around the type that indicates where to trim.

Once trimmed, the print fits nicely into any 8x10 inch frame.  I got mine framed this week, along with some other awesome prints.

This is an exercise of consistency and simplicity for me.  Take from it what you will.
