'Song on Loop' free planner printable

A new month, a new set of freebies I designed for me & my BIG ideas. I'm excited to share this free printable that documents the song that plays on repeat during the week. You know what I'm talking about -- sometimes it's the brand new Summer single you can't hear enough of, and sometimes it's one of your favorite oldies that your iPod brings back in shuffle (for me that song is "Dreams" by The Cranberries). Whichever song you're listening to on loop that week, you now have a design to stick in your planner and document it on!   They are available for FREE DOWNLOAD on the mambi blog HERE.

Days of the Week free printable

A new month, a new set of freebies over at the me & my BIG ideas blog. I'm excited to share these black & white Days of the Week cards I designed that are available for FREE DOWNLOAD on their blog HERE.

I printed them out on watercolor paper because I wanted them textured. If I had a Laser printer - and knew the ink wouldn't run - I'd watercolor paint on top of these to add an extra pop. You can print them on regular card stock, matte or glossy photo paper, or any 8.5 x 11" paper.

I date stamped with my beloved neon pink ink pad, and journalled to match my 'open door' photo. I paired the freebie card and the photo with a palm tree image embellished with a me & my BIG ideas clear sticker from their 'Faith' mambiSTICKSpack. (That gorgeous pink and gold foil polka dot paper on the right from HERE.)

 

New Years 2015 Free Printable (!!!) for PL

The final days of 2014 are upon us, friends, and to celebrate I designed these three New Years POCKET PAGES™ cards that are available for FREE DOWNLOAD on the me & my BIG ideas blog HERE.

I printed mine out on regular 8.5 x 11" white cardstock, for the thicker consistency, but plain paper will do as well. Print it out on glossy photo paper to make the black really pop.

I cut mine out with a paper trimmer, and journalled and check-listed. I love the idea of adhering clear white mambiSTICKS stickers to the card, maybe in a cluster like I did with this project.

This is the ninth submission for my "Helvetica diaries" series. This series is a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.  

I talked in detail about today's Helvetica diary sentiment at the end of this post. I often find myself in constant pursuit of the reason why things happen that I'm not enjoying them as they happen, and quite honestly, I'm SO OVER IT. How 'bout you?

Here is the sixth submission for my "Helvetica diaries" series, first seen here and here. Simply put: this series is a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, or random thought printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.  

Today's Helvetica diary is for my fellow cat-lovers. The idea came to me while walking the streets of New York City and realizing that almost everyone that passed me was speaking a different language: Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Yiddish...it's amazing, and one of my favorite things about New York City, but it gets frustrating because I feel left out of the dual-language club. Boo. After a few seconds of pouting, I realized, Hey! I can be in the club! I speak cat!  (Something only my fellow crazy cat people will understand.)

Below it's available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print it for yourself or some crazy cat person you know.  It's as easy as clicking the download link, and printing from your computer. In this print's case, the size is 8x10 inches.

I am starting a new simple series on this blog space here called "Helvetica diaries".  Simply put: it's going to be a once-in-a-while post that includes a quote, saying, song lyric, random thought flying around my brain, or a typographic whatever printed out on white paper using black Helvetica font.  

This quote/saying/song lyric/random thought/typographic whatever will be made available as a free downloadable .pdf if you wish to print the sentiment for yourself.  It's as easy as clicking the download link below, and printing from your computer.  There is an 8x10 rectangle around the type that indicates where to trim.  

Once trimmed, the print fits nicely into any 8x10 inch frame.  I got mine framed this week, along with some other awesome prints.

This is an exercise of consistency and simplicity for me.  Take from it what you will.

a template for '30 Days of Lists'

30 Days of Lists is a creative listing project.  It was originated by bloggers Kam of Campfire Chic and Amy of Lemon and Raspberry, and is offered semi-annually, in March and September of every year.  For more information on 30 Days of Lists, see the website here.

The next round begins September 1st, and is a few days away.  

In this post, I have made the template I created and used in the last round of this challenge available for FREE DOWNLOAD.  The cover/title page is the image you see above...kept simple to leave room for any embellishments you would like to add.

For me, I customized the lists digitally, printed out each page along with a corresponding photo, and embellished each one with washi tape.  It was a simple system that worked for me, and I was pleased with the final product:

Included in the FREE DOWNLOAD is:
the title/cover page,
lists in 5 colors,
and
the photo frame template.

The pages are 6x6.  

The files are in .psd format, so you must have Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to be able to customize the lists.

I printed mine on HP Glossy Everyday Photo Paper, trimmed them with a paper cutter, and bound them with book rings.

FREE DOWNLOADS // each version of my Week In Review cards

Howdy, all!  A few months back I posted an instagram and my |week 8| PL spread featuring the first version of my 'Week in Review' cards I use each week in my Project Life spreads.  Well, I'll tell ya! It was greeted with such a positive response that I decided to make it available for free download soon after.
