Last month, I shared with you all that I got the apartment! Since "getting it" my dad and I have been meeting with attorneys and filling out mountains of paperwork. I've been renting decor books from the library, stalking the streets of my new neighborhood, uploading and printing out the floor plan, and scribbling my layout ideas all over it.
I mentioned in my floor plan post that there's a large open area near the windows in the main living space that is dying to be filled with a looooong dining room table that can seat at least eight people. Long light wood is what I'm thinking. Wide and long enough enough to seat eight people comfortably. If you know of any tables currently on the market that fit those requirements, please leave me the link in the comments. Or, I might go the route that Elsie, Rachel, and Emma did and DIY my own long dining room table. I'll keep you posted on this project, but for now -- it's all pins and dreams.
