This is my first submission for the Get Messy art journal challenge. *UPDATE: I no longer participate in Get Messy. Look to the comments section in this post for the reason why. With today being September 11th, this is the something I wanted to say. More on that here.
To start this project, I chose two Gold Foil mambiSTICKS stickers that looked like towers and had appropriate sentiments.
I used one of the arrow stickers and cut the arrow head off to make the antenna on top of the North Tower. Then, I added a 'Remember This' half circle sticker.
When my base of mambiSTICKS were in place, I decided to paint with neon and gold. You can see a quick video of the process HERE.
I stamped the date, I journalled the never forget, and in 15 minutes my page was done.
I pray we never forget. I pray nothing like what happened 13 years ago ever happens again. Live for today, for this moment, for the people you love, because you never know when they'll be taken away.
