Good morning, readers and peepers! Let's talk home decor! (Something I'm excited to start doing on this blog space with this big move coming up.)
Chairish.com recently reached out to me asking if I would create a styleboard featuring one of their many fabulous bar stools! Being that I'm in the market for some, and in home-decor overdrive lately, I thought it perfect timing and why not!
The above pair of counter height swivel bar stools were my favorite of the bunch they sent me to use. I love the contrast of the woven wicker rattan seats with the solid metal bases. They read to me as casual, yet slightly feminine, so I created the below mock room style board with that feel in mind:

I picture a cute back corner of a living space housing the two barstools. My color palette derived from the Charish rose color partnered with my beloved bold black&white, beiges, golds, and other pinks. I'm dying over the wallpaper and brass pineapple! ...and the pillows' watercolor effect is so in right now.
I'm finding out more and more everyday that decorating spaces, whether they be a room or an art journal page, is a passion of mine fo' sho! Expect to see more home decor posts in the coming months. ...and thank you, Chairish, for opening up that floodgate, with this here post!
