Today I'm sharing with you Part II of my three-part series of posts on this mini IG album I'm affectionately calling '30 Years of Friendship' (see Part I here.) One of my oldest pals Danielle (she's in this post from last year's trip to Atlantic City) is turning 30 in June, and I plan to gift her this gold mini IG album filled with pictures of our years as friends.
For the cover, I used a series of gold embellishments to match the album. Next, was to get an idea of exactly how many photos I'd actually be including in the album and getting them ready to be used.
I scanned all the old-school photos I found of us, and searched both of our internet databases for pics posted online.
I layed out and resized the photos in Photoshop, and fit as many on a page as I could.
...and there were over 60 photos! I printed them out on HP Photosmart Glossy Photo Paper, and I'm always impressed with the quaity.
Each photo was printed at either 4x4 size for the larger instagram album's page protector, or a 4x2 size to be split and fit in the 2x2 page protector.
I have plenty of pocket pages, but I'm probably going to have to order more. Stay tuned for Part III of this project where I'll show you the end result. ♥
In the meantime, you can find me on instagram | twitter | pinterest | bloglovin', or pop in every Friday to see my crafts and fun things in collaboration with my new work family at We R Memory Keepers.
