Hi, readers and peepers from the We R blog and beyond!
Thanks for stopping by. I'm Amanda Rose Zampelli, and I was recently hired by We R Memory Keepers as a product designer and as a bonus: I get to blog a bit for them too!
Today I'm excited to share Part I of what I'm planning to be a three-part series of posts on this mini IG album I'm affectionately calling '30 Years of Friendship'. One of my oldest pals Danielle (see her in this post from last year's trip to Atlantic City) is turning 30 in June, and I plan to gift her this gold mini IG album filled with pictures of our years as friends:
For Part I of this project here today, I'm going to talk a bit about the supplies I collected and my plan for the album. Firstly, I gathered all the photos of us I could find (above aren't even half of them). I plan to scan them in my computer, retouch them with Photoshop a bit, and resize them to fit the 4x4 and 2x2 pockets that come with the We R IG albums.
The title will be stuck on the outside with gold alphas for a gold-on-gold theme.
I intend to gift the mini book complete with photos and quotes and inside jokes jotted on tiny little 2x2 journalling cards to Danielle on her 30th birthday in June. From now until then, I will come to you with two more posts on this project. One post on the progress I'm making in the next few weeks, and the other in about two months on the final product, ready to be gifted.
Until you actually get your hands on one of these cuties, you really don't realize how petite and perfect for gifting they are. For first-time pocket scrapbookers, there is no better way to start. ♥
In the meantime, you can find me on instagram | twitter | pinterest | bloglovin', or pop in every Friday to see my crafts and fun things in collaboration with my new work family at We R Memory Keepers.
SIDE NOTE: Happy 4th Birthday to my two kitty-cat babies! According to the Cat-Years Calculator, it's like they're 35.
