|Week 37| had me in the first full Monday-through-Friday back to school.
The left side:
For this spread, I had made those two journal cards on PSE 10: 'What HE Saw' and 'What SHE Saw'. I was very impressed with myself, and they fit with what I wanted to convey in |week 37|. But just them black&white bold inserts seemed to steal the show, so to balance 'em out, I made a digital title card with the same font, and created small black&white date labels for the pictures...
Loved that Yogi tea quote from the week:
"Your heartbeat is the rhythm of your soul."
So fitting for the events of |week 37|.
The 'What HE / SHE Saw' inserts are because my boyfriend, Tomas, and I didn't talk to each other last week, and based on pictures I spied from his FB and what not, I knew what he was doing, and I journalled thoughts about it.
...and then there were things that impacted me, so I included that with some journalling as well.
Things between him and I...they're...not as good as they once were, and we have some figuring out to do, and that's about all I'm ready to share at the moment. The way it manifested itself in my PL this week was with what you see above.
We'll see how it continues to be paper-crafted, 'cause with each sit down at my craft table, I never know.
The right side:
Just 9 square instagram shots from the week, minimally embellished with a quick stamp, and my date labels.
...still love that [ shoe shot ] stamp. I think I always will. :) Get yours here.
Dinner date with dad & sis; my little Alejandro in his favorite cozy dirt spot.
I finished off the spread by dedicating the bottom three insert spots of the right side to the awesome Saturday-evening jog my sister and I went on. The sun was going down, we explored a new part of my jog/run trail, and we quoted Heavyweights pretty much the whole time.
I was reflective, looking up at the pine trees, knowing this Fall and Winter are going to royally kick my butt, and wondering how I'm going to handle it, how I'm going to get through.
I might be a little overly sensitive and dramatic in the next few weeks' PL spreads, but I turn them into what they need to be for me that week, and do my best not to judge the end result.
Is that how you Project Life? I'm just curious...
