...and it was the first week...
Gah!
the left side:
I love the weekday stamp set that came in the SC September Main Kit.
The first day of school, I walked to my car and saw a beautiful pink/red sky...
the right side:
...equipped with my view from my new classroom, and the 5K Mud Run adventure.
This was the plastic number I had pinned to my front the whole race. Of course, I kept it.
Everyday, I see the Empire State Building, and it's buddies outside my window. Something about it comforts me. Like, the message I'm getting everyday is 'something great is closer than you think.' Yeah, I pretty sure that's why I adore this view. ♥ ♥ ♥
^ above ^ , you can see what I did to the back of my race number. I adhered it to a blue and white striped paper, and journalled about the race experience. Then, I splattered it with a Mister Huey's Classic Calico brown mist to give it a dirty mud effect. ;)
v below v , I ran the sweet yellow chevron ribbon (again from SC's September Main Kit) through my sticker-maker machine to make it like washi, and placed it on the outside of the PL page protector to separate the skyline image from the mud run images. I like it. I think it 'works'.
On each image from the Mud Run, I stuck some word stickers that I thought best captured each moment.
^ of course ^
Whelp, folks, the summer fun is over. Actually, the fun's been over since the departure of my beloved July, but at least I still had the summer space.
Now, with the coming back of yet another school year, my weekends shall be presenting a BiG CONFLiCT: School Work vs. Project Life. Whoa. That's some match up! ;)
