T.G.I.F., readers and peepers!
Welcome to another edition of Five Friday Favs where I feature five certain things that are my favorite. For today's installation, I bring you five of my favorite fictional hunks. ;)
I've been watching a lot of love-story movies lately. Some for the first time (The Vow...ugh!) and some over again (The Notebook, Hope Floats, etc.)...but lately, I've been a studier of LOVE. I'm dying to know what makes it true, and how two people know they're the 'ones' for each other.
I should probably look somewhere else besides the T.V., but then my bouts of Autumn agoraphobia kick in and I'm in no mood to leave the house. ...and these guys are pretty fun to look at, rewind, look at again, rewind... ;P
For one reason or another, they've always been my favorite...
Ah, Noah... who wouldn't list him as their favorite? ...and you know, at first look, he isn't even gorgeous, but it's his actions. One of my favorite favorite things in the whole movie, is when Ally bursts out of her parents house crying, and he wipes the tears from her eyes and holds her face... ahhhh...
That moment right there...that tenderness is what I want.

1998 Crush Alert! My going-into-eighth or ninth-grade self walked out of Armageddon completely smitten with A.J. Hot Damn! Did you know they put fake teeth in Ben Affleck's mouth to make him look hotter? Supposedly, he had baby-teeth in his mouth, and they weren't right for the big screen. Ha! I'm getting off topic...
I adore the graham cracker scene, and again the tenderness and transparent love...BUT my favorite favorite scene is when he sings to her.
Holy YES! A moment like that right there...that is what I want.

Justin Matisse. He might be a little country and a little forward and a little too Harry Connick Jr. for me, but there's so many sweet moments. I love the part where he declares that Bertie (Birdie?) played by Sandra Bullock still has the spark she once had. When someone believes in you more than you believe in yourself...that's what I want. I also love love love the line dancing scene, and when the music slows up, and he just HOLDS her.

Keanu Reeves from Speed still does it for me. Not so much Keanu Reeves from The Matrix, but as Jack Traven from Speed, YES! I can't even pinpoint what about him...probably strickly how hot he was... :P I think that's all I have to say about that.

Lastly, from one of my favorite movies and best love stories of all time, ♥ Patrick Swayze ♥ as Sam Wheat from Ghost. My sister and I kind of have a human-being crush on Patrick Swayze...I don't know how it started, but we just LOVE him. We think he's a great man. Did we know him like that? No, but we just love him...okay?! We do. We quote his brilliance and bring him up randomly in conversations. We just love him.
Plus, who wouldn't love a guy that is curious about your work in the middle of the night and tries to help put you back to bed? ...
