It's got to be my favorite holiday.
I love that the celebratory requirements include: spend time outside, drink beer, chill with loved ones, and play with fire.
I also love where 4th of July is in the year...right at the beginning of my favorite month and my favorite season. ♥ ♥ ♥
Outfit commentary: I've been more secure with my body than ever these past couple years, and feel if a bit of tummy's going to be shown ever in my life, it might as well be in the last bit of my 20s. Plus, the hot hot weather calls for it. About the shorts: they're my best shorts. If you can't tell, my hips, thighs, and butt are HUGE, and shorts have always taken me to the danger zone. However, I've eased in to these retro high-waisted (<--God sends) cotton fits, and they have been where it's at for me in Shorts Town. I now own about 4 or 5 pairs.
I'm unashamed to pick a way up-there wedgie.
